I am near a cross-roads in upgrading the Z to the next level. One of three choices of consideration are: (a) Sport 600 turbo upgrade; (b) Level 10 Torque Converter; (c) Dual POP. I know that overall power would be obtained by the 600s, but overall cost (including install) is significant. A TC is "relatively" cost-justifiable, as I believe it would contain significant performance enhancement for the dollar. Finally, a Dual POP is also nice, and relatively cheap (although, admitably, a lower return on HP). So, I am leaning towards a TC that will ultimately - and unfortunatley - push out my timeline for a turbo upgrade unless an incredible deal comes along. :) For those of you with experience on TC upgrades, can you please post your thoughts and observations on this particular upgrade? I have heard varying accounts on ET improvements with just this one install (from a few tenths upwards to almost a second); domestics - such as the Camaro SS - also see excellent improvements with with just this one upgrade. Any an all comments welcome, but would prefer comments similar to "autos suck" or "manuals are better because of x, y or z" to be left at the door. Thanks in advance, Eggman.
